Hi, I'm Bill Carroll and for me photography is a hobby, a hobby I’ve managed to get all of my immediate family involved in including my wife, son, daughter and both of my two older grandchildren. I’ve had a life long interest in photography but only since my retirement have I been able to pursue it to the fullest extent possible. I had originally thought I’d like to pursue it as a third career but abandoned those thoughts once I saw how quickly it went from being fun to becoming a job. So, with that in mind, I thought it would be nice to roll it into another favorite pastime; travel. My wife and I have been very fortunate in that we’ve been able to do a lot of traveling and I thought it might be nice to share some of our experiences with others and that is the focus of my website.
I use Nikon Digital exclusively so, with the exception of a very few images, everything here was shot using Nikon Systems. I know many people are interested in exactly what equipment was used and I understand the reason for that, I too like to know what others are using, but if you want that information you’ll have to hover over the image and click on the blue “Photo Info” icon; that will provide you with the EXIF data which will tell you how the image was captured. EXIF only tells you the focal length of the lens used so I will tell you that my lens kit includes Nikkor AFS : 17-55mm f/2.8G, 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED, 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II, 300mm f/2.8G ED VR and a TC-17E II. I hope you enjoy looking at our images as much as we enjoyed taking them.
Bill Carroll
